As part of the official program of Pride Marseille, the associations Collectif IDEM and APGL PACA invite you to discover the documentary film "My child my battle ”. A debate will be organized at the end of the session with Emilie Jouvet, the director and Catherine Clavin, lawyer at the Marseille bar.
My Child, My Battle is a documentary film that tells the history of homoparentality in France through the Apgl (Association of Parents and Future Parents Gays and Lesbians). By relying on numerous testimonies (children and families concerned, researchers, doctors, institutions, lawyers, politicians and thinkers) on different forms of having a family (PMA, IAD, ROPA, GPA, Adoption, Co-parenting, Multiparentality, Single parenthood , Transparency ..) and archive documents (PACS, MARRIAGE, Events, Debates on Bioethics ..), Emilie Jouvet gives a voice to those who make or have done, through their personal choices, their commitments and their collective struggles, the history of homoparentality in France since 1986. A story that is far from over ...
